???RENDON -- Frances Marie Grubbs, 81, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home Monday, April 3, 2006, surrounded by her loving family and friends. ??? Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Blessing Colonial Chapel, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Burial: Private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Funeral Home. ??? Marie was born Sept. 1, 1924, in Fort Worth. She worked in the defense industry during World War II in Colorado, eventually returning to her birthplace. She retired in 1986 after 39 years of service with Williamson-Dickie in Fort Worth and enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. with her family. Marie was loved for her friendly manner, sweet disposition and generosity, and will be greatly missed. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 57 years, Frank M. Grubbs, in 1999; and a granddaughter, Reighann, in 2003. ??? Survivors: Her daughter, Joan Hagler and husband, Ernest; son, David R. Grubbs and wife, Brenda; grandson, Clayton; granddaughters, Jennifer and Leslie: and extended family and friends.
