Memorials: Her family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent. However, consideration of contributions to Congregation Ahavath Sholom or to a charity of choice, in Frances' name, is suggested. Born in Fort Worth on July 20, 1921, Frances Ruth was the daughter of Ben and Yetta Schwartz. She was married to Joseph Abraham Zenick for 55 years before his death in 1997. Frances grew up in her family's retail business. Her sales ability was legendary in Fort Worth retail circles. After leaving the family business, she became a floor manager and chief buyer for Wally Williams, which specialized in women's couture fashion. In her 60s she opened up Fran's Unique Boutique with her husband, Joe, and continued to serve her clientele. She had a great love of dancing and actually auditioned once with her older brother, Sam, on the stage of the old Palace Theater in downtown Fort Worth. Frances was a lifelong member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom and an active member for many years in the Ladies Auxiliary and Hadassah. Survivors: Frances is survived by her sons, Larry Zenick and his wife, Susan, of Jacksonville, Tenn., Harold Zenick and his wife, Sally, of Cary, N.C., and Gerald Zenick and his wife, Ilene, of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
