HALTOM CITY -- Frank Thomas Busby, 89, who served his country proudly and honorably during World War II as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force, passed away on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home Chapel, with David Rogers officiating assisted by Doug Burns. Interment: Following the service Frank will be laid to rest in Dido Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home immediately following the funeral. He was preceded in death by sister, Inez Morgan-Schrum of Dallas, and daughter, Cindy of Haltom City. Survivors: Wife, Paula Busby; daughter and son-in-law, Valarie and Doug Burns of Stephenville; sisters, Polly Porter (Jay) of Fort Worth, Dorothy and Howard Smith of McGregor, and Mary Miller of Waco; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
