BEDFORD -- Fred Miller, 81, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014. Memorial service: and inurnment will take place at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine. Fred was proud to serve his country in the United States Army. He was an avid golfer and will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandson, David Kitts. Survivors: Daughter, Monica Kitts and her husband, Lynn; granddaughters, Lindsey Avery and husband, Brian, and Haley Woodrow and husband, Jonathan; and great-grandsons, Everett and Eli Avery.
