Gary Hodges

FORT WORTH -- Gary Alexander Hodges, a devoted husband, son, nephew, uncle and cousin, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at his home. Service: A tree planting and memorial service are planned for his birth date. Alex was born Sept. 29, 1972. A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, he was a senior software quality assurance analyst, with his most recent assignment at the Federal Reserve Bank. He was also a volunteer for Code Blue with the Fort Worth Police Department and a member of the class of 1991 at Haltom High School. Alex loved to spend time with his son and wife, along with off-roading and making remote cars in his spare time. Alex was preceded in death by his father, Clarence D. Hodges; his brother, Charles; his grandparents, Claude and Milly Salinas, Buster and Letha Hodges; his uncle, Spurgen Hodges; his aunt and uncle, Mae and David Lancaster. Survivors: Those left to miss him dearly are his wife, Keri; son, Hunter; his parents, Cathy and Ronnie Norman; his in-laws, Laurie and Linda Crapo; aunt and uncle, Susie and Bobby Ellis; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Tracy and James Wicker, Jennifer and Kevin Hawkins; and his very supportive cousins, Claudia Pendelton, John Odom, Katie Wilson, David R. Lancaster and their families. He is also survived by his half brother and half sister, Clarence Hodges Jr. and Suzanne Hodges; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
