Gary Wollenzien

FORT WORTH -- Gary D. Wollenzien, 61, of Fort Worth passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Fort Worth. Service: 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14 at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1500 FM 156, Haslet, TX. Pastor Chris Bramich will officiate. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church. Gary was born February 17, 1950 in Laramie, Wyoming to Bob And Geraldine Wollenzien. He married Bonnie Kaye Fritzler on September 2, 1972. Gary retired after dedicating 30 years to the YMCA. He enjoyed Majhong, genealogy, photography and most of all, people. He was a member of Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church in Haslet. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Geraldine Wollenzien. Survivors: His wife, Bonnie; sons, Chris and his wife Michelle, and Greg; grandchildren, Alex and Kristina; and brother Bob.
