Gayle Fitch

MANSFIELD -- Gayle Ramona Fitch, a housewife and loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2008. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Gayle was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Albert Lea, Minn. She was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. She lived in the Albert Lea area and moved to the Rio Grand Valley in South Texas where she completed high school. This is where she met her husband, Willard E. Fitch, and resided until early 1960s and moved to Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors: Son, Wayne Fitch and wife, Bonnie, of Weatherford; sisters, Donna Wheeler of Mansfield, and Atlanta Rusted of Lincoln, Neb.; one grandson of College Station; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
