FORT WORTH -- Georgia Corpany Brittian left this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, during her 92nd year. Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper with the Rev. Mary Fortner of Ridglea United Methodist Church, officiating. Following the service, Georgia will be laid to rest next to her husband, Pat, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends will be received prior to the service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Ridglea United Methodist Church, in Georgia's memory, is suggested. Born in Fort Worth on Dec. 21, 1919, Georgia was the daughter of George and Lenora Graves Corpany. She worked for Pangburn's Candies and Misco. Georgia enjoyed square dancing, where she met her husband, and was a longtime member of Ridglea United Methodist Church. She will be missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, who died in 1995; brothers, Dan and Grover Corpany; and sisters, Hazel Genteman and Bertha Mae Wise.
