Jerry Cowan, 73, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, TX. Wednesday 2:30 P.M. Jerry was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Waco. He was a longtime resident of Hurst. He was a member of First Baptist Lewisville. He was a food sales representative for several companies. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, C.W. Cowan, Frances Cowan, and brother, Charles Cowan. Survivors: Son, Jeff Cowan and wife, Dedra; daughter, Lisa Kirchner; grandchildren, Abbey, Jedd, Tessa Cowan, Garrett and Cody Kirchner; sister, Carolyn Keeney and husband, George; brother, Steve Cowan and wife, Kim; nieces; and nephews.
