Gladys Riggs

For many years Gladys taught a young peoples' Sunday school class and was a former member of Grace Temple Church. She and her late husband, Orpha, owned and operated Riggs Nursery on West Division in Arlington for 25 years. She later retired from Fort Worth National Bank from the trust division of the oil and gas department.        Survivors: Son, Fred and his wife, Shirley; grandchildren, Brian Riggs and Yvonne South; five great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Hitt; and sister, Christine Norwood.
