BEDFORD -- Glen S. Morris, 44, an employee of Bell Helicopter Textron, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Hurst, 1801 Norwood. The Rev. Dr. Jeff Burnett, pastor, will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Memorials: Friends who desire are respectfully invited to honor Glen's memory with memorial gifts for his sons, Eric and Brandon, in care of First Baptist Church of Hurst. Glen was born June 29, 1963, in Long Beach, N.J. Glen loved life, music and sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Morris and grandparents, Pop and Gram Morris. Survivors: Left to cheirsh their precious memories are his wife, Kate, who said, "He was the love of my life"; sons, Eric C. Morris and Brandon M. Morris, all of Bedford; and all of New Jersey, son, Glen Morris Jr.; daughter, Christina Morris; mother, Ginny Morris; brothers, Tommy Morris and Jay Morris; extended family; and many dear friends.
