Slay Memorial Funeral Center Aubrey, Texas Glenn Edward Farmer, Sr. 75 of Tioga passed away Friday April 6 at Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter, TX. Glenn was born to Della Davidson and Clarence Farmer on September 5, 1936 in Coaldale, Virginia. He served in the United States Marine Corp, and worked as a truck driver. Glenn married Mary Ann Sabo on November 12, 1956 in Bland, VA. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas. Funeral services for Glenn are scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Slay Memorial Funeral Center Chapel with David Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, Texas. Glenn is survived by his wife Mary of Tioga; two daughters, Kathy Davis of Sanger, TX; and Sandra DeMarcco of Leander, TX; three sons, Glenn Farmer, Jr. and Robert Farmer both of Tioga, TX; and James Farmer of Aubrey, TX. Other survivors include ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Sue Smith of Winston Salem, N.C.; two brothers, Jack Farmer of Winston Salem, N.C. and Jerry Farmer of Long Grove, OK. Glenn was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Millirons and Eunice Jeffreys. Funeral services are under the direction of Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX.
