Gracie Clampitt

FORT WORTH -- Gracie Goodwin Clampitt passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Rd., Fort Worth. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gambrell Street Baptist Church Building Fund, 1616 Grambrell St., Fort Worth, Texas, where Gracie was a longtime member. She was born July 10, 1922, in Bluff Dale to Henry A. and Georgia Meadors Goodwin. The family wishes to thank the residents and staff of The Wren House assisted living facility in Cleburne for the many kindnesses and gentle care. Gracie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Cullen Clampitt; her mother and father; and her nine siblings.
