Gregory Wayne Von Allman

Gregory Wayne Von Allman, born March 25, 1961, left this life on January 9, 2014, where he resided in Rhome, Texas. He was born in Izmir, Turkey to Jerry and Marie Von Allman. He returned to Dos Palos, California in 1978 where he finished High School and started his family. Gregory had two fabulous sons, Greg and Russell. The gems of his life were his mother “Marie” who was always there for him and a bright light in his life. And his daughter-in-law, Felicia and granddaughter Violet, AKA , “Tiny Winny” like him, so lively and animated, but yet shy! His passion in life was his boys, cars, sports, hunting and camping! He was an all-around outdoorsman. He always had a good work ethic and a great heart! He had so much love for his boys and life. He was survived by his mother, Linda Marie Von Allman; sister, Pam and husband Todd Burbach; brother, Kurt and wife Cindy Von Allman; sons, Greg and wife Felicia Von Allman, Russell Von Allman; granddaughter Violet Von Allman and many blessed nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving father Jerry and brother Bradley Von Allman. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s home on Thursday, January 16, 2014, following the service, which will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 305 1st Street, Justin, Texas, 76247, at 11:00 A.M.
