HURST -- Harry E. Beimel, 93, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Antelope Cemetery in Jack County. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Harry was born Dec. 22, 1916, in Detroit, Mich., to Edward Beimel and Louise Bucher. He was a member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church. He served his country in World War II and was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. He was a member of the 33rd Troop Carrier Squadron of the 5th Air Force stationed in the Philippines. Harry retired from Lennox Industries after 25 years as a service engineer. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7. Survivors: Wife, Johnnie Beimel; daughters, Anna Carol Fejes and husband, Steve, and Lori Jane Perry and husband, Greg; sister, Betty Ryckman; grandchildren, David Waller and Marshal Perry; great-grandson, Blake Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
