BEDFORD -- Harry William Donaldson Jr., 93, passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011.        Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.        Harry was born May 10, 1918, in New York City, N.Y. He was a veteran, serving honorably in both World War II and the Korean War. Harry worked most of his career with Republic Aviation as an aircraft inspector retiring in 1986. Harry was a mechanical whiz and maintained a lifelong interest in the aerospace industry and later in life developed a remarkable proficiency on the computer. He moved to Bedford in 1990. After the death of his first wife, Edna, he married Luba in 1998. They spent 13 wonderful years in the Parkwood retirement community where they had many good friends. While at Parkwood, Harry designed the front covers of their monthly newsletter for 15 years. Harry was loved by everyone and was always willing to help anyone in need.        Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Donaldson.        Survivors: Wife, Luba Donaldson; son, Harry W. Donaldson III and Robert F. Donaldson and wife, Norma; daughter, Mary Wrighton and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Nicole, Tim, Matt and Joe Donaldson, and Michael and David Wrighton; stepchildren, Darlene Ryan and Bruce Montgomery and wife, Tina; and stepgrandchildren, Kevin Ryan, Hope and Mason Montgomery.
