NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Hattie Belle Reeves Cribbs, 94, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 25, 2010.        Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Bible Church, 1450 Oakhill Road, Fort Worth. Interment: Arwine Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.        Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials are suggested to the Arwine Cemetery Association, in care of Billie Lou Cole, 5308 Bonnie Wayne, Fort Worth, Texas 76112; Grace Bible Church, 1450 Oakhill Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76112; or a charity of choice.        Hattie, the daughter and granddaughter of pioneer Hurst families, the Andersons and Arwines, was born May 8, 1915, to Linnie Pryor Reeves and Bertha Frances Anderson Reeves. She received her bachelor's degree and teacher's certificate from North Texas Agricultural College, now the University of Texas at Arlington, and her master's degree from Texas Wesleyan College, now Texas Wesleyan University.        She began teaching in 1936 and through the years taught at Harrison schools in Arlington, Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD and in the Birdville ISD. She served as a principal for eight years and retired from teaching in 1977.        She deeply loved teaching the Bible. A student of the Word, she taught Sunday school and children's church at 615 College Ave. Bible Church in Fort Worth, Mid-Cities Bible Church and faithfully attended Grace Bible Church with her husband, Lewis.        She was a member of Phi Eta Sorority and the Retired Teachers Association of Albany.        Hattie's family was very much loved and played an important role in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Lewis.        Survivors: Daughter, Lennie Suggs and husband, Gary; grandson, Jason Suggs and wife, Erin; and great-granddaughter, Haley Jo Suggs.
