Helen Brice

HURST -- Helen Jane Brice, 85, a wonderful mother to six children, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.        Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday in Lucas Sylvania Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: Noon Sunday with the family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m.        Helen Jane was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Kaufman. She was a longtime member of Riverside Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Sidney Brice.        Survivors: Sons, Jerry Brice and wife, Nellie, of Longview, Billy Brice and wife, Sharle, of Fort Worth; daughters, Sandra Freeman and husband, David, of Duncanville, Paula Parrish and husband, Kenneth, of Fort Worth, Nancy Bowles and husband, Glenn, of Florida, Sherri Shutter and husband, James, of Bedford; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
