Horace Vail

Horace Eugene Vail, 83 of Providence Village passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Bonham. He was born on September 14, 1925 in Clarksville, to Thomas Connie and Jenny (Terri) Vail. He married Kathryn DeMoore on March 27, 1954 in Dallas, TX. He served in the United States Army and worked for Henry S. Miller. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Cross Roads. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Vail of Providence Village, two daughters, Martha Myre and husband Chris of Providence Village and Patty Dinsmore and husband Gary of Dallas. Hes also survived by one sister, Virginia Brown of Nacogdoches, five grandchildren, Amanda Myre, Rachel Myre, Christopher Myre, David Vail and Tristan Murray, and two great-grandchildren Boston Murray and Ardyn Murray. He is preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Barbara Jane Vail and Nancy Jean Vail, one brother James Vail and one sister Margaret Salmon. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
