FORT WORTH -- Howard S. Tissot, 77, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009, at a health center in Fort Worth. Graveside service: Will be held in St. Louis, Mo. Howard was a determined person. He fought relentlessly through a lifelong struggle of chronic illnesses. He worked for American Airlines for 38 years before going on disability in 1985. He started his career in St. Louis, Mo. He transferred to the SRO as a supervisor in 1972. Hurst had been his home for about 35 years. He served in the Marines during the Korea War. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Gaston and Mable Tissot, and his dog, Bridgett. Survivors: Brother, Frank Tissot and wife, Rosemary; one nephew; one niece; and his lifelong friend, Leo Krez.
