Idalue Chase

HURST -- Idalue Chase of Hurst went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008. She was 76 years old and passed away at home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. in Crinerville Cemetery in Brock, Okla. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The daughter of James Ivy and Lillian Hammer, she was born on Sept 4, 1931, in Brock, Okla. She was married to Bill Chase on Sept. 7, 1952, in Gainesville. She loved being a mother and provided a loving home in which to grow up. She also loved being a wife and shared over 56 years of marriage with the man of her life. Her greatest achievements were her service, love and compassion to others which made her someone everyone loved. Survivors: Her husband, William "Bill" Chase; her children, Mike and Sarah Chase, Marc and Joanne Chase, Mary Maus; her grandchildren, Josh and Rachel Chase, Jennifer and Dewayne Bagley, Joey Chase, Jed Maus, Jeremy Chase, James Chase, Malinda Maus, Elizabeth Chase, Audra Maus; great-grandchildren, Aurora Bagley, Ivy Bagley, Jacob Chase; sister, Ila Davoult; numbers of extended family; and her beloved dachshund, Sam.
