KELLER -- Jack D. Brock, 84, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, at an area hospital. Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday in Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 137 E. Hill St., Keller. Interment: 10 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 2 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Keller Funeral Home. Jack was proud of his service to his country, serving in the Merchant Marine and Coast Guard. As a Merchant Mariner for more than 20 years, he traveled all over the world. He continued to travel after his leaving the Coast Guard. Jack was one of Keller's earliest developers. He served on the board of directors of Tarrant County Builders Association. Jack was a former Keller mayor and city councilman. Survivors: Son, Cass Brock; daughter, Gloria Brock; grandson, Donovan Brock; and nephews, David Brock and Robert Brock.
