WATAUGA -- Jack Leon Jordan, 74, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. Graveside service: 10:15 a.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Jack, son of James and Dorothy Kleinfelter Weyler, was born Dec. 11, 1938, in Joplin, Mo. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Jack was a very talented artist, musician and gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jack Duane Jordan; and brother, Leroy Weyler. Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Ruth; daughter, Sheryl Thomley and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Kelly and Courtney Preston, Jordan, Miandra and Pamela Thomley; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Jimmy Weyler.
