RICHLAND HILLS -- Jack F. Schroeder, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Jack was born to Fredrick and Helen Josephine Schroeder on March 10, 1930, in Hutchinson, Kan. On Feb. 3, 1952, he married his wife of 61 years, Mary Ann Earl. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he had a career in insurance serving as president of Lawyer's Surety Corp. in Dallas prior to retirement. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Helen Schroeder; and brother, James Schroeder (Ann). Survivors: Wife, Mary Ann Schroeder; daughter, Lynnette Schroeder (Pat); sons, Randy Schroeder (Sandy) and Mark Schroeder (Danette); grandchildren, Angela Strode (Ryan), Brian Schroeder, Elizabeth Isbill (Rowdy), Jennifer Meinke (Tobin) and Christine Miller (Chris); great-grandchildren, Jack Strode, Taylor Strode, Logan Isbill, Owen Isbill, Lexington Ghaemmaghami and Winter Meinke; and several nieces and nephews.
