BEDFORD -- Jagala "Gee" Brown, 37, a loving husband, a good father and a loved son, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday in Lucas Hurst Funeral Home Chapel, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Pastor Ben Daley will officiate, assisted by Pastor Gary Paige, both of Calvary Church, Irving. Interment: Following a committal service, Gee will be laid to rest in Bear Creek Cemetery, Euless. Visitation: Gee will lie in state Wednesday afternoon at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. Jagala Larone Brown was born Jan. 15, 1971, in Killeen to Joseph J. "Pepe" and Viola Merritte Brown. Gee was a faithful member of Calvary Church in Irving. He took good care of his family and tried to help anyone he could. He worked for TrendMicro and one of his employers said, "Gee made a great impact in very little time." Survivors: Left to mourn his death as they cherish their memories are his wife of 11 years, Vickie; sons, Jacob Brown, age 8, and Zachary Brown, age 5; mother, Viola Brown; father, J."PePe" Brown and his wife, Corliss; sister, Alicea Brown and her daughter, Ruby Nell; godchild, Victoria McCoy; and extended family members.
