NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- James Michael Besaw Sr., 66, was called home to his Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, while doing the thing he enjoyed so much, fishing in Canada. Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Jim, the oldest of four children, was born Dec. 13, 1946, in Bay City, Mich., to Raymond and Pearl Bouza Besaw. He joined the Air Force out of high school and served for four years. He served on the Nebraska Highway Patrol for 13 years and then for Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring after 30 years of employment.He married the love of his life, Marilyn Dever, on June 8, 1968, celebrating 45 years of marriage together.
