MANSFIELD -- James David "Jim" Bledsoe passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, in Dallas. Lovingly remembered, Jim was a blessing to all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, faithful and loyal friend. Not only did he take care of his family and friends, he and his wife, Sheri, opened up their home and hearts to numerous foster children. Jim not only felt he was a blessed man because of family and friends, he knew he was one of the rare and fortunate few who thoroughly loved the industry and place in which he worked, Lone Star Park. He was an avid golfer, a devout member of Harmony Baptist Church, and an active member in the community serving several years on Grand Prairie's City Council. The people who will miss him the most include his wife of 28 years, Sheri; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Amy Bledsoe of Alvarado; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Dustin Nash of College Station; daughter, Victoria "Tori" Bledsoe; one beautiful granddaughter; three precious grandsons; along with many extended family members and friends.
