Garland Bledsoe, 82, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at a local health care facility.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in Lucas Sylvania Funeral Chapel, with ministers Jim Hackney and David Rogers officiating. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday; the family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m.        J. Garland Bledsoe was born July 29, 1927, in Hillsboro. He retired as a transport driver for Gulf/Chevron. He was a longtime member of Midtown Church of Christ and now Heritage Church of Christ.        He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Peggy; and one daughter, Regina Getter.        Survivors: Son, Robert "R.M." Bledsoe and his wife, Julie, of Newport, Ark.; daughters, Belinda Bledsoe and Karen Denney of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
