James Bolton

BEDFORD -- James C. Bolton, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 following a brief illness. Memorial service will be 2pm Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. James was born March 6, 1939 in Vernon, Alabama to Jesse Carroll and Leamon Hudson Bolton. He was director of public works for River Oaks from 1961 to 1968 and presently was president of Target Lifts International. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Bolton. Survivors: wife, Fran; children, Chris Bolton, Tina Purser, Sharon Welker; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Marylon Brake, Debbie Blackwell; mother of his children, Judy Dyer Henderson.
