SOUTHLAKE -- James Vincent Bonnet, 56, a surgeon, died peacefully at home in Southlake on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, after having lived so courageously with colon cancer for the previous eight years. Service: A memorial celebration will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine. James was an orthopedic surgeon, practicing in Grapevine for the past 26 years. He was profoundly loved by his family, friends and patients, all of whom he considered as part of his family. He was an unbelievable example to all of us how to live a joyous and meaningful life while dealing with significant adversity. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Peter. Survivors: Wife, Sidney; sons, John, Ben and Wil; daughter-in-law, Simone; parents, Beverly and John; and brother, David and wife, Tamara.
