?????FORT WORTH -- James Moore Kendrick III, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, after a brave battle with stomach cancer. ?????? Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. The Rev. John Reynolds, chaplain with Odyssey Hospice, will officiate. Visitation: His family will receive friends noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. ?????? Memorials: Consideration of contributions to Partners Together for Health, care of JPS Health Network Center for Cancer Care, 2500 Circle Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119, in Jim's memory, is suggested. ?????? Jim was born Sept. 30, 1943, in Athens, Ga., the son of James Moore Jr. and Mary Jane Blanchard Kendrick. He had various careers throughout his life including serving his country. ?????? Jim was a professional musician, a visionary and a successful entrepreneur. He loved to share his passion for the outdoors with friends and family. ?????? He was a shepherd, a teacher, a counselor and mentor, and an inspiration to those who knew him. He was a beloved friend, brother, father and "Papa" to his grandchildren and will be greatly missed. ?????? Survivors: His children, Kevin and his wife, Bridget, Jeff and his wife, Amy, and Sandra Enriquez and her husband, Rick; the mother of their children, Karen Powers; his grandchildren, Breanna and Billie Rhea, Makayla and Kole Kendrick, Jennifer Dean, JJ, A'Lisa and Kaylee Kendrick and Justine and Conner Enriquez; brother, Ken and his wife, Melissa; sisters, Janice Kittelsen and her husband, Karsten, and Jeri Houstoun and her husband, Jim; and other loving, extended family members.
