James Uselton

MANSFIELD -- James Calvin Uselton, 77, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009. Calvin was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Lillian to James "Jim" Calvin Uselton Sr. and Dollie Shaw Uselton. Calvin served his country during the Korean War, returning to marry his beloved wife, "Cil," and to raise four daughters by an example of love, family dedication, hard work and service to any who were in need. He retired from Texas Steel after 38 years of service. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Faye, Imogene and J.L. Survivors include his Wife of 54 years, Cecile Brown Uselton; daughters, Trena Allen of Mansfield, Sheila Orso and husband, Chuck, of Mansfield, Angela Braymer and husband, Mark, of Grandview, Judy Reece and husband, Fred, of Houston; grandchildren, Jennifer Allen Morris, Erin and Carra Allen, Brandon and Spencer Braymer, Lindsey Orso, Ryan and Kyle Reece; great-grandchildren, Haley, Blane Hunter; brother, Melvin Uselton of Kennedale; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
