James Wright

James Wilburn Wright, 76, of Britton, Texas, went home to be with Jesus Friday, July 22, 2011, his journey here ending at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie, Texas. James was born June 9, 1935 in Willspoint, Texas, the son of Kermit Benjamin Wright and Anna Gracie Carpenter Wright. He was born to be a true cowboy, Sue Wright's own Roy Rogers. He married Sue Sellers in Marfa, Texas on July 20, 1953. Survivors include his Wife of 58 years, Sue Wright of Midlothian, Texas; sons, Doc Wright of Midlothian and Jimmy Wright and wife Pam of Austin, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Wright of Midlothian; grandsons, Jeremy Wright of Nacogdoches, Texas and Jason Wright and wife Cassandra of Nacogdoches, Texas; honorary daughters, Karla Wright, Debbie Havens, Gloria McCaffrey, Charlene Saunders, Sheri Clark and Shakira Carter; sisters Gayle Engledow and husband David of Garland, Texas and Joyce Blaylock and husband Arthor of Waxahachie, Texas; granddogs, Jags and Zack Wright; grandcats, Cate and Bob; great granddogs Ginger, Kelli and Coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Christine Lee Wright in 1955 and two stillborn boys.
