Janis Roberts

The family will receive friends Monday May 31, from 6-8 PM at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 East Hill Street in Keller. Janis "Miss Kitty" was born in Langdale, Alabama on August 21, 1946, and received her education from Valley High School and Auburn University. She was married to David Ira Roberts in 1967, and they were married for 43 years. Jan was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, a kindergarten teacher and an office manager in several real estate companies. She also was one of the founders of the North Texas charities in Roanoke and served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors. Janis is survived by her husband, David; son, Brian Joel Roberts; daughter, Maria Suzanne Roberts; mother, Doris Bryan; brother, Philip Bryan; daughter-in-law Allyson Roberts; and three grandchildren, Timothy Joel, Kayla Beth and Aidan David.
