Jenevia was born Oct. 16, 1931, to Drewfus and Adele Lindsey in Roland, Okla. She earned her B.S. in health care administration from East Texas State University. She served as a nurse for 44 years, working at Sparks Medical Center in Fort Smith, St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas and Harris HEB Hospital in Bedford. Jenevia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Melba; and her brothers, David, Bill and Joe. The family would like to thank Dr. H. Dhingra, Dr. Jack Bell and wife Barbara, Dr. Jerry Light and their staff for their care and support. Survivors: The love of her life, her husband, Vanis; son, Arnold and wife, LaRue; grandson, Alex; sister, Nadine Baker; brothers, Dennis Lindsey and wife, Greta, Jack and Richard Lindsey; sister-in-law, Betty Lindsey; and a host of family and friends whose lives she touched with her humor, fun-loving spirit and love.
