Jerry Raney

MANSFIELD -- Jerry Raney, 58, owner of A-Briggs Heating and Air Conditioning Company, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, in Mansfield. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 1800 E Broad St., Mansfield. Interment: Mount Olive Cemetery, Scurry. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home. Jerry was born April 14, 1949, in Midland, the son of W.E. and Vivian Harris Raney. He married Vicki Smith on July 17, 1971, in Midland. He was preceded in death by his father, W.E.; his grandparents; and by Vicki's grandmother, Abbie "Granny T" Zeig. Survivors: Wife of 36 years, Vicki Raney; children, Michael Raney, Laura Beth Raney; granddaughter, Dionna Raney; mother, Vivian Raney; brother, Carl "Skipper" Raney; and numerous loving family and friends.
