Jim Hale

FORT WORTH -- James B. Hale, 80, longtime resident of Dallas-Ft.Worth area died from complications of Alzheimer's Disease on June 20, 2010. Memorial Service: 11:00AM Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home,        137 E. Hill St. Keller 76248. Memorials: in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.        Jim was born in Stephenville, TX, to Jack and Lorene Hale. He married Glea Koontz Hale in 1951. Jim traveled worldwide both for business and pleasure and loved telling his childhood adventures such as: once he rode out a Galveston hurricane; at age 9 sitting on a wooden cheese box to drive his grandmother's laundry delivery truck; and at age 15 he drove in a stock car derby. Most of his career was in the banking equipment industry.        Survivors; wife, Glea; daughter, Nancy Dodd and husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Nicole and Dustin Dodd; brothers, Jack and Edward Hale; sisters, Betty Lawrence, Jeanie Marshall and Patsy Lee.
