John Akins

John Paul Akins, 38 of Pflugerville, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his home. He was born on January 21, 1972 in Dallas to William James and Linda Jeanne (Lewellen) Akins. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church of Krugerville with Rev. Sam Redfearn officiating, burial will follow at Belew Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey. He is survived by one son, Dalton Akins of Pilot Point, father and step-mother, William and Peggy Akins of Lake Kiowa, one brother, Robert Akins and wife Judy of Callisburg and one sister, Michele LeClaire and husband Glenn of Sanger, and numerous nieces and nephews.
