NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- John Britton Barnes passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010. Service: Memorial Mass will be at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Michael Anglican Church, 3800 Popplewell St., Richland Hills. Interment: 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery; the procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. from Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. JB was a very loving and respected man, a soldier who fought on many fronts, fighting selflessly for his country and even more so for his family. He was a beacon of light who lived out loud and did things his own way. He will never be forgotten and his endearing love will live forever through those he left behind. You're free, Jaybird.
