COLLEYVILLE -- John Robert Trigg, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 in Pritchett, Texas. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Grapevine Church of Christ. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either to "Adventures in Missions" program at the Sunset International Bible Institute, 3273 34th St., Lubbock, TX 79410, or to "Eastern European Missions" P.O. Box 670928, Dallas, TX 75367-0928. Johnny, as he was known to everyone, was born October 12, 1936 in Grand Prairie, TX to Jesse and Inez Trigg. Johnny graduated from Grapevine High School in 1955 and immediately went to work for Texas Instruments, where he became a supervisor in the finish shop, retiring after 36 years. After retiring from TI, he went to work for the City of Grapevine at the Grapevine Golf Course. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the many friends who have shown every act of kindness and mercy to our family during this difficult time. Survivors: Johnny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Oleta; son, Randy and his wife Jeanine of Ft. Worth, daughter, Leisa Wheeler and her husband John of Denver, CO; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Trigg, Chad Wheeler and his wife Jaime, Kyle Wheeler, and Elizabeth Trigg; sister, Mavy Nell Wright and husband Jick, of Euless; niece, Amy Houlihan of Connecticut; aunt, Judy Pirkle of Lewisville; cousin Marilyn Tucker of Decatur; and a host of friends To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of John Trigg please visit our Sympathy Store.
