John Wright

MANSFIELD -- John K. Wright, 69, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007, at his home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane B. Halsted St., Ste. 201, Chicago, Ill. 60662, (312) 587 9272 or www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/home.htm. John was born Dec. 8, 1937, in Williamsport, Pa., to Charles Gerald Wright and Edith Lois Wright. He served 29 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a command master sergeant in 1984. He then continued his work career at Boeing/Rockwell International on the B-1 bomber project and later retired from American Airlines Flight Academy in 2003. John received his BBA degree from Dallas Baptist University in 1995. Survivors: Wife of 33 years, Nita Wright; sister, Nancy Eichenlaub and husband, Bob, of Williamsport, Pa.; eight children; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
