MANSFIELD -- John K. Wright, 69, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007, at his home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane B. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in memory of John K. Wright, 1332 N. Halsted St., Ste. 201, Chicago, Ill. 60662, (312) 587 9272 or www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/home.htm. John was born Dec. 8, 1937, in Williamsport, Pa., to Charles Gerald Wright and Edith Lois Wright. He served 29 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a command master sergeant in 1984. He then continued his work career at Boeing/Rockwell International on the B-1 bomber project and later retired from American Airlines Flight Academy in 2003. John received his BBA degree from Dallas Baptist University in 1995. Survivors: Wife of 33 years, Nita Wright; sister, Nancy Eichenlaub and husband, Bob, of Williamsport, Pa.; eight children; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
