Johnny L. Joiner left this life Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Heritage Church of Christ in Keller. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Johnny was born on March 21, 1932, to S.A. and Mary Freeda Joiner. Johnny faithfully served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. In 1958, Johnny married the love of his life, Shirley Pence. Together they raised three children and were charter members at Midtown Church of Christ. In the 1960s Johnny founded Joiner Bros. Construction along with his brother, Fred. Johnny remained in the construction business until he retired in 2000. He made many, many long-term friendships through his business. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, and his brother, Fred Joiner. Survivors: Daughters, Tammie Joiner Morris and husband, Danny, Lori Joiner Morton and husband, Thad; son, Brett Joiner and wife, Karin; grandchildren, Scott Morris, Dustin Morris, Rachel Morris Gohlke and husband, Cody, Tyler Nieto, Abbie Nieto, Chris Nieto and Harper Morton.
