JOSE PENA

FORT WORTH -- Jose Garcia Pena, 79, died peacefully Thursday morning, Feb. 15, 2007, at a Rio Grande City care center.  Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Templo Bautista Emaunel, 3940 Eighth Avenue. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Robertson Mueller Harper.  A native of Alcabus, Tamps., Mexico, Jose Pena was born Feb. 14, 1928, the son of Jose' Luz Pena and Rasaura Garcia Pena. He was married to Maria Garza Pena, who died in 2003, and was a member of Templo Bautista Emanuel.  Survivors: daughters, Rosa Garza and her husband, Raul, Andrea Amador and her husband, Michael, and Martha Camacho and her husband, Ron; sons, Jose L. Pena and his wife, Armandina, Saul Pena and his wife, Rosenda, Lucia Pena, Javier F. Pena and his wife, Nora, Fernando Pena and his wife, Mari, and Jesus Pena and his wife, Shannon; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, one sister, and their families.
