Joseph Feilen

McKinney Joseph J. Feilen, Jr., 87 of McKinney, died on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Plano. He was born on December 1, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Joseph J. and Ethel (Wesbey) Feilen. He married Muriel P. Skorupa on May 19, 1945 in Chicago, IL. He served in the United States Army during WWII in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He is survived by his wife, Muriel of McKinney, two daughters, Karen Bolin and husband Lon of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Jan Hall and husband Tom of McKinney. Four grandchildren, Kurt Hall and wife Sondra of McKinney, Michelle Hall of Dallas, Krista Benewitz and husband Ed of Elk Grove Village, IL and Leah Bolin of Elk Grove Village, IL. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Brittany Benewitz, Lauren Benewitz, Hope Benewitz, and Nol Benewitz of Elk Grove, IL, Justin Bolin and Jonathan Bolin of Elk Grove, IL, Dallas and wife Kasey Slay of Tioga and Kaleigh Hall of McKinney, and great-great-grandchild, Kennedy Slay of Tioga.
