ARLINGTON -- Joseph Ward Pimlott, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2006. ??? Funeral: 9 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, with military honors. ??? Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, 101 Summit Ave., Suite 300, Fort Worth 76102. ??? Joseph was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Belleville, Kan. He was awarded the Purple Heart during World War II while serving with the 82nd and 101st Airborne in seven campaigns in the European theater from 1942 until the end of the war. ??? Joe was the owner-operator of Pimco Electrical Company in Mansfield until his retirement in the 1990s. He was an avid sports fan and had been a dedicated golfer. ??? He will be missed. ??? Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Lena "Mickey" Pimlott of Arlington; son, Steve Pimlott and wife, Linda of Arlington; daughter, Paula Beasley and husband, Ronnal of Alvarado; grandson, Matthew Pimlott of Arlington; granddaughter, Amy Morrow and husband, Michael of Burleson; great-grandson, Colton Morrow; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
