Joe was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Manchester, N.H. Fort Worth was his home for many years. He proudly served his country during World War II as a crew chief on the B-29 aircraft. Joseph was a quality control inspector with Bell Helicopter for many years. His family was the most important part of his life and being a hands-on-grandpa topped the list. Joe was an avid sports fan, with the Yankee baseball team at the top of his list and Notre Dame not far behind. He also enjoyed bowling. Joe was a longtime member of Gambrell Street Baptist Church. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Tempie, and his wife of 19 years, Irene. Survivors: Daughter, Tempie "Bunny" Isaacs and husband, Don, of Fort Worth; son, Bud Jackson and wife, Cici, of Kansas; daughter, Ruth Perkins and husband, Danny, of Olney; daughter, Teresa Williams and husband, David, of Covington; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.Memorials: Friends who desire are invited to honor Joe's memory with gifts to the Alzheimer's Association of North Central Texas, 101 Summit St., Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
