Joseph Wiersch,

RICHLAND HILLS -- Joseph Francis Wiersch Jr. died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at home in the loving presence of his wife and two children.        Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in North Richland Hills. Interment: Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a wake service including rosary at 7 p.m., at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.        Joseph Wiersch was born April 23, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He graduated from St. John University in 1963 and soon began employment with Richmond Screw Anchor. He married Melva N. Boraby on April 28, 1973, at St. John the Martyr. In 1974 he moved to Richland Hills to continue working for Richmond until 1998. He later worked for Zimmerer Kubota for 10 years.        Upon moving to Texas, he joined St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. He was deeply devoted to his family and his faith.        Survivors: Wife of 37 years, Melva; daughter, Mary Ann; son, Albert; daughter-in-law, Tonya; grandson, Matthew; and cousin, Anthony Wiersch.
