FORT WORTH -- Joyce Faye Bigger Cruse, 61, a loving mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, July 16, 2008, after a four-month struggle with cancer. Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Her cremated remains will be buried at sea under the auspices of the United States Coast Guard at Port Aransas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the ASCO Cancer Foundation, care of Marymahon@asco.org, or 571- 483-1442, in Joyce's memory, is suggested. Joyce was born March 1, 1947, in San Antonio, the daughter of Robert and Joyce Bigger. She married Antony G. Cruse on Feb. 27, 1970, with whom she had two children. Joyce was a living example of Christ's love, grace and compassion. Her family and friends will deeply miss her.
