Joyce Foster

Joyce Sue Taylor Foster, 68, of Burleson, Texas, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009, in the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House, surrounded by her beloved family. Joyce was born in Alba, the daughter of Elmer and Susie Taylor. She married Jerry Foster on Feb. 11, 1961, in Grand Prairie. She was a member of Liberty Church of Mansfield and retired from Johnson and Johnson Medical in 1997. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jerry Foster of Burleson; daughter, Jennifer Ann Ray and husband, Johnny Ray; granddaughters, Candice Smith and Jourdin Ray; great-grandchildren, Caine, Ireland, Nathenal, Alexis and Danielle; brother, Don Taylor; and sisters, Madie Marshall, Dorothy Streback and Esta Lee Morgan. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Susie Taylor; daughter, Jerri Sue Foster; brother, Tommy Taylor; and sister, Pat Waldon.
