Joyce Roden

Joyce Alline Rutland Roden, 78, of Burleson, a beautiful Christian example, loving wife, mother and mawmaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, May 6, 2010. Mom always comforted us with these words, "God is good and Jesus takes care of us all of the time and God bless us all." Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Rutland; mother, Leecie Rutland Willis; stepfather, George Willis; and brother, Don Rutland. Survivors: Husband of 58 years, John T. Roden; children, Sharon Tyler and husband, Larry, Jeannie Lochridge and husband, David, Johnny Roden and wife, Teresa, and Kay Mann and husband, Kevin; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
